Thank you to all who took the time to send me Mission Eggs and EODs over the weekend. I am home now. My daughter in law has 3 weeks to go before she delivers and we all recently had an unexpected fright. The hospital do weekly ultrasounds on my daughter in law and there was concern the baby had developed hydrocephalus [water on the brain]. Turns out that stress was all for nothing but was enough to send me urgently interstate [900kms away] to find out it was due to poor technician method. Baby's health is all fine. One scan showed baby head at 50th percentile. Last scan showed increase to 75th percentile. Mother-to-be is still anxious and scared so needed lots of love and reassurance. ... (more)

Thank you all for the assistance you give me with Mission Eggs and EOD. I am away from Friday -Monday, interstate, visiting my son and daughter-in-law. In about another 3 weeks, I am to become a Grandma to a beautiful granddaughter. My daughter-in-law is in the later stage of pregnancy [first time] and not managing hence my sudden flight to Sydney to assist. She is very anxious. I will try and get on as much as I can over this time and send Gold.

I am back in hospital. I cannot seem to get a break. I have a Pulmonary Embolism in my lungs making minimal exertion an effort. Now they think I may have had a silent AMI [Heart Attack] and the Pulmonary Embolism is a secondary finding. They also think the wound has recollected fluid so I am off for ultrasound in morning for drainage of any recollection. Thank you everyone for your assistance with Mission Eggs and EOD. You are all wonderfully generous souls and I wish you all a Merry Christmas and New Year xxxx

I am still in hospital. Hopefully, home tomorrow after having to go back to operating theatre twice in 5 days to have drainage of wound infection from operative site. Still very sore but getting there. Will be a quiet Christmas, I think. Wishing you all a lovely time with family and friends over the festive break. Looking forward to the New Year. Sorry Folks I am back in hospital. Third time in 3 weeks just had my second operation on my left leg, Suffering from a Septic Shower due to infection. Trying my best to play each day but sometimes, have absolutely no energy at all and basically sleep the day away. Thanks for all the help and assistance you give me and I appreciate your patience whilst I recover.

Thank you all for your thoughts and prayers. To say I am nervous today is an understatement. I appreciate all your well wishes and thoughts for my recovery. You all are really such a wonderful group of people that I am blessed to consider good friends that share common games and interests with me. God bless you all xxxx

Unsure if I will be on much for a few days from tomorrow. Having major surgery to remove a tumour from between my femoral artery and vein in my left leg. Tissue biopsies have shown the tumour to be non-malignant but because it is large, it is displacing these great vessels in my left leg and affecting circulation in that leg. Very painful and difficult to walk as this leg is swollen as the lymphatics in that leg is being compressed and disrupting flow. Having to do this surgery, as being diabetic, I am at risk of losing that leg if left untreated. Your prayers and thoughts are most appreciated at this scary time for me. ... (more)
